Cancellation, curtailment and loss of holiday
If, due to unforeseen reasons out of your control you have to cancel or cut short (curtail) your holiday, we may be able to reimburse for any costs incurred. We offer up to £2,000 for your share of any lost prepaid expenses you are unable to transfer or get back.
Emergency medical and repatriation
With an Essential Travel policy, you can get up to £15 million worth of medical insurance, should anything happen to you when you’re on your trip. The cost of medical bills abroad can vary hugely, and if uninsured, the bill will fall on you to pay.
If you’re planning on taking a cruise holiday, our optional cruise cover includes cover for missed port, cabin confinement, unused excursions, increased personal baggage limits and evening wear.
Having your luggage delayed in transit is something no one wants to happen. That’s why, if your checked-in baggage is delayed and doesn't arrive at your destination, we will compensate you £150 for every 12 hours it’s delayed, up to a maximum of £600.

Winter sports cover
Our optional winter sports cover includes protection for loss, theft and damage to winter sports equipment, equipment delay, piste closure, and more.
Ensure your golf holiday is more birdie than bogey, with our optional golf cover. Includes cover for loss, theft or damage of your golf equipment, hire of replacement equipment and green fees.
If you have to cancel your trip, or your return home is unavoidably delayed, we'll cover up to £500 in unused or additional kennel and cattery fees you have paid, or are contracted to pay.
